Re: Long Weekend

Long weekend was pretty good, was nice to have a four day weekend. thursday night was pretty good, went to the lake with cortney and her friends to watch fireworks. was a pretty good time. her friends refer to me as her boyfriend, and i think that she did on a couple occasions as well. which was kinda nice to hear, alittle odd but kinda nice. her friends are nice, definatly wouldn't have a problem hanging out with them again. i find thats always a great help, when friends are so welcome and they make the person fit right in. Its always hard introducing new people to a group, especailly such a tight group. i know that i'm always worried about introducing people to our group but its actually not that bad cuz liz and casey are very welcoming. matt is kinda weird for people, and then everyone else is very wierd. thats why its always easiest to introduce people to liz and casey, and everyone always has a good time when caseys around. Just like wonderland, that went realyl well... i mean wagner and his wench are kinda quite but casey and i aren't and neither are kathleen and cortney which worked out. by the end of the day they were all pretty good friends. anyways moving on, friday was pretty good day, spent the whole day at the house with liz and casey. drank 12 or so beers that night, didn't feel anything until the 8th or 9th beer, and then i felt really sick after we had that hamburger helper. i woke up at 3am to puke, wasn't that fun. saturday the slaev auction went well. we raised $860 just on bids. and then we got some donations which raised the total to $1150. Rob was bid on for $115 by Sam's father and he has to work next weekend at thier house, weeding a pond. I was bid on for $125 by Sam, and i had a choice, i could either a) work for 3 hours on sunday, or b) make an ass out of myself at the family dance. So naturally i choose option b. i mean i make an as out of myself anyways, sam even said after the dance, "you guys(christina and myself) dont even need to be told to make a fool out of yourselfs, you already do it own your own." so i got off pretty easy, although it was pretty hot at the dance so within no time was i sweting. Sunday didn't go too bad, did really bad at horseshoes, cuz i was so sore from the dance the night before. then the bottle drive seemed to take forever cuz we weren't in the mood for it and ti was hot as hell. however we did raise $113.40 which is about average for us. bad for a long weekend but average for a normal weekend. and well that was the weekend, oh with the exception of the park now has a large checkers/chess board near the mini-golf. although they didn't buy chess peices cuz they were to big cuz there is no room to store them, they did buy checkers peices and rob and i played for 2 hours on saturday, was pretty funny. anyways thats about it, enjoy.
